The bachelor’s thesis focuses on designing an interior that closely interacts with nature and its living and non-living elements. The space literally breathes life and addresses the ecological challenges of contemporary living. The goal is to create an environment that harmonizes with the natural world while providing a sense of spiritual richness, not just material comfort.
The design emphasizes the importance of light and mental well-being – an ecological lifestyle is sustainable only in a space that brings joy and inner harmony. Inspiration for the work came from the geodesic architecture of Richard Buckminster Fuller, whose approach to construction paved the way for an ecological future.
The result is a design for an unconventional micro-space geodesic house in Slovakia, located on a bio-farm in Hrubý Šúr. The house serves as temporary accommodation, and its design promotes close contact between humans and nature. The space combines aesthetics, functionality, and a spiritual dimension, bringing life and harmony into everyday surroundings.
